Technical Excellence. Football Intelligence. Purposeful Development.
About Me
I’m Coach Tarek, a soccer and futsal coach, technical director, and educator with over 20 years of coaching experience.
Over the years, I’ve developed my own coaching approach, built around technical excellence, football intelligence, creativity, and high standards.
I believe great players aren’t just technically skilled. They understand the game, think quickly, make good decisions, and know how to adapt under pressure.
My teams have a distinct playing style. We focus on quality passing, intelligent movement, excellent first touches, creativity, and confidence on the ball.
I don’t just teach players how to play soccer. I teach them how to understand the game.
My Coaching Philosophy
Technical Excellence
Everything starts with technique. First touch, body positioning, passing accuracy, ball control, and the ability to play comfortably under pressure.
Strong technical skills allow players to be creative, confident, and effective.
Football Intelligence
I want players who think, not just react.
Understanding space, anticipating plays, making decisions before receiving the ball, and knowing when to pass, dribble, or move are all essential.
It’s not just about playing faster. It’s about thinking faster.
Creativity and Confidence
Players need the freedom to express themselves, take risks, and find solutions.
Mistakes are part of learning. What matters is that players are thinking, trying, and learning from them.
High Standards
I have high expectations for my players, regardless of their level.
I don’t expect perfection, but I expect effort, focus, and a willingness to improve.
Going through the motions isn’t enough.
How My Teams Play
I want my teams to have a recognizable playing identity, but that doesn’t mean following a rigid system.
I teach players to read the game, make smart decisions, and adapt to what’s happening around them. Knowing when to pass, dribble, keep possession, or play forward is just as important as having the technical ability to execute.
We focus on purposeful passing, intelligent movement, creating space, supporting teammates, and reacting quickly when possession changes.
Technical quality and football intelligence always come first. I want players who can solve problems rather than rely on speed or physical strength alone.
Futsal plays an important role in my approach. The smaller spaces, constant pressure, and faster decisions help develop skills that carry directly into outdoor soccer.
The goal is simple: Develop technically strong, intelligent, and creative players who understand the game and can adapt to any situation.
Coaching Leadership
Alongside coaching, I hold two technical leadership positions:
Director of Boys Foundation Phase
Focused on developing young players during their foundation years, establishing technical standards, and building strong fundamentals and football intelligence.
Director of Boys Futsal
Focused on developing the boys’ futsal program, coaching methodology, technical standards, and player development.
My approach to leadership is the same as my approach to coaching: clear expectations, a consistent philosophy, and a commitment to quality.
Beyond Winning
I love winning, and I want my teams to compete at a high level. But winning alone doesn’t tell the whole story.
I pay attention to how players perform, how they make decisions, how they handle pressure, and whether they’re becoming better footballers.
A team can win without playing well, and a team can lose while showing real progress.
Ultimately, my goal is to develop players who are technically confident, intelligent, creative, and prepared for the next level.
Better players. Smarter football. Higher standards.
